Betty Carnal, office secretary for Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah, retired on April 2 after thirty-nine years on the job. Starting work on March 20, 1971, she quickly became a familar face and an indispensible part of the Shackelford work family. Betty will most definitely be missed in the office at Savannah but we all wish her well as she enjoys her retirement.
