Agnes Glynn Bomar was born on July 16, 1938 in Randolph, Tennessee to the late James Clyde and Willie Lucille Sandridge Harchfield Bomar.
She was united in marriage to Julian Paul Bomar, who preceded her in death on December 26, 2009.
Mrs. Bomar was the Business Owner and Bookkeeper of Bomar's Cafeteria in Adamsville, Tennessee. She lived in Morris Chapel, Tennessee for forty years before moving to Savannah, Tennessee, where she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was a gracious hostess, loving grandmother (Munna) and great-grandmother, who welcomed everyone into her home. She was always unfailingly positive, an excellent wife, mother and homemaker, and was famous for her apple cake! She loved gardening, crossword puzzles and her family!
Mrs. Bomar departed this life on September 27, 2013 at the Trinity Hospice House in Collierville, Tennessee at the age of 75 years, 2 months and 11 days.
She is survived by a son, David Paul Bomar of Memphis, Tennessee and a daughter, Paula Bomar Hensel of Chattanooga, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Joshua Douglas Gray and Bethany Suzanne Gray and one great grandson, Joshua Payton Todd; two step-granddaughters, Kimberly Clark and Mandy Sanders; and two step great-grandchildren, MacKenzie Sanders and Hayes Sanders.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Jimmy Clyde Bomar and two sisters, Ruby Owens an Patricia LaVelle.
