Al Ward was born February 19, 1952 in Adamsville, TN the son of Elizabeth (Bett) Gilchrist Ward and the late James (Buddy) L. Ward.
He was united in marriage to Che-Chee Taylor on June 18, 1971.
Mr. Ward graduated from Adamsville High School. He retired as the Corporate Maintenance Engineer for Garan, Inc., overseeing maintenance and repair for all their facilities world-wide. In his spare time, Mr. Ward enjoyed fishing. He attended Mt. Sharon Presbyterian Church in the Gilchrist community.
Mr. Ward departed this life on June 4, 2017 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 65 Years, 3 Months, 16 Days. He is survived by his wife Che-Chee (Taylor) Ward of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Kirstie (Ward) McCormick and husband Terry of Adamsville, TN; a son, Chad Ward and wife Alana of Clarksville, TN; five grandchildren: Elle-Catherine McCormick, Samantha McCormick, Jackson McCormick, Avery McCormick, and Maggie Ward; his mother, Elizabeth (Bett) Gilchrist Ward of Adamsville, TN; a brother, Randy Ward and wife Becky of Dyersburg, TN; and many extended family and friends.
He was united in marriage to Che-Chee Taylor on June 18, 1971.
