Alice Virginia Hendrix

Alice Virginia Hendrix, age 95, of Jackson, TN, passed away December 23rd after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Charlotte O’Neal, mother Flora Brown Hendrix, father Forrest F. Hendrix, brother, Forrest Ralph Hendrix and sister-in-law Mary Lee Hendrix.
Alice Virginia was a retired secretary, member of St. Andrews Methodist Church and a Red Cross volunteer for over 25 years at Jackson Madison County Hospital. She is survived by two nephews, Dennis Hendrix (Jennie) Houston TX, Bill Hendrix (Marie) Plano TX, niece Alice New (Brooks) Jackson, TN and a wonderful loving family that celebrated many vacations, holidays and weddings together.
Visitation will be at Shackelford Funeral Directors from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, Monday, December 30th. Graveside services will follow Oak Hill Cemetery with Reverend Harrell Phillips officiating.
