Allie Belle Barnes Hubanks departed this life on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at the age of 90 years, 1 month, and 28 days. She was born in McNairy County, Tennessee on October 11, 1927, the daughter of the late Virge and Rosie Barnes.
She was a member of Meeks Grove Church and had retired from Garan Manufacturing.
Allie Belle is survived by her children, Brenda Kiddy and Jerry Hubanks, both of Savannah, Tennessee, Kenneth Hubanks of Counce, Tennessee, and Jimmy Hubanks of Ramer, Tennessee; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Sue Strouish of Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Henry Brown; second husband, Marcus Hubanks; a daughter, Peggy Brown; sons, Bobby Wayne Brown, Charles William Brown, and Larry Brown; brothers, Roy Barnes, Gibb Barnes, and Ray Barnes; and sisters, Etta Mae Barnes and Helen Barnes.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to family friend, Janice Robertson, for caring for Maw Maw Belle during her final months. Janice went the extra mile to comfort, care, and love her every day.
