Andy Wayford Robertson

Andy Wayford (Mutt) Robertson was born February 7, 1926 in Iron City, TN. the son of the late James Marshall and Fannie Artimess Daniel Robertson. He was united in marriage to Clura Dean Daniel on January 5, 1947.

Mr. Robertson was a retired farmer and factory worker, a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Iron City, Tennessee, and a United States Air Force veteran of WW II.

He departed this life on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at his home at the age of 87 years, 10 months, and 11 days.

Survivors include his wife, Clura Dean Daniel Robertson; daughters, Teresa Robertson Arnett and Denise Robertson Robbins; brother, Calvin (Bill) Robertson all of Iron City, TN; grandchildren, Joe, Jenny, Tabitha, Shelby, Haley, Kari, Andrew, Dayla, and Adam; great-grandchildren, Gauge, Remington, Stetson, Kyra, Kellyn, and Koltyn and several nieces and nephews.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Douglas Grayford and Larry Wayford Robertson; daughter, Sandra Patricia Robertson; brothers, Roy, Buford, Grayford Robertson; sisters, Alta Gibson, Ida Brewer, Annie Mae Edgar, Iva Dean Rich.

Services will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Jerry Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with military rites and Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Joe and Andrew Robertson, Adam and Casey Robbins, Kent Holt, John Warrington, and Jason Davis.

Visitation will be Friday, December 20, 2013 from 6 pm to 9 pm and Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 9 am to service time at the funeral home.
