ARCHIE STRICKLIN
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on March 30, 1929 the son of the late Bob and Linia Rich Stricklin.
On December 24, 1949 he was united in marriage to Peggy Stanfield, who survives.
Mr. Stricklin served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a supervisor for Parris Manufacturing Company for 26 years. Mr. Stricklin was a member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church and he was also a member of the National Rifle Association. Mr. Stricklin loved hunting, trapping, loved watching purple martins and he also loved having a vegetable garden. He raised all kinds of farm animals.
Mr. Stricklin departed this life on October 4, 2015 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 86 years, 6 months and 4 days.
In addition to his wife Peggy of 65 years of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by two daughters, Beverly Hunt of Savannah, Tennessee and Kay Rose of Olive Hill, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Geneva Darnell and two brothers, James B. Stricklin and Harve D. Stricklin.
