Arthur M. McCarver

Mr. Arthur M. McCarver age 74 of Medon, passed from this life Sunday, January 19, 2014 in Jackson, TN.
Born June 6, 1939 to Robert F. and Annie Mae Taylor McCarver, he was a lifelong resident of Hardeman County. He and his wife Judy, who survives, were married October 4, 1969. He worked at Harmon Automotive for 37 years where he retired as president of the company, and enjoyed farming. He also served in the US Army.
In addition to his wife, survivors include 3 sons, Jason McCarver of Jackson, Brian McCarver and his wife Suzanne of Henderson, and Blake McCarver and his wife Misti of Virginia Beach, VA.; a sister Wanda Kiestler and her husband Malcolm of Medon; and by 5 grandchildren, Conner, Lillie, Taylor, Riley, and Ashlynn McCarver. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harvey McCarver.
The family wishes memorials be sent to Big Springs Methodist Church Cemetery.
