Barbara Ann Sutton Copous, 74, of Waynesboro, Tennessee died Monday, August 11, 2014. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday, August 14 at Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro, TN and 10 am to 1 pm, Friday, August 15, 2014 at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, TN. Funeral services will be at 1 pm, Friday, August 15, 2014 at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, TN with interment at Memorial Gardens in Collinwood, TN with Bro. Tim Hanback officiating and Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. She was born in Detroit, MI, a retired bookkeeper and merchant and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by her devoted mother, Maulta Sutton; loving husband of 56 years, Billy J. (BJ) Copous, Sr. of Waynesboro; daughter, Kim (Tim) Morgan of Sheffield, AL; son, Billy J. (Rhonda) Copous, Jr. of Nashville, TN; grandsons, Ross (Meredith) Morgan and Reed Morgan; great-granddaughter, Caroline Morgan. She was preceded in death by her father, Millard Sutton and sister, Thelma Elsner.
