Barbara H Meter was born in Waynesboro, Tennessee on May 1, 1951 the daughter of the late James Hugo and Stella Ruth McMahan Hartup.
Ms. Meter worked at Tennessee Hickory Products in Loudon, Tennessee for 21 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Ms. Meter was always a smiling, kind and hard working person. She loved her sons and her grandchildren.
She departed this life on August 20, 2014 at her son's home in Counce, Tennessee at the age of 63 years, 3 months and 19 days.
Ms. Meter is survived by her two sons, Beau Robert Meter and his wife Earle June of Counce, Tennessee and Brodie Heath Meter and his wife Amber of Lenior City, Tennessee
two grandchildren, Gracie Davidson and Alydia Lavon Meter
two brothers, Michael H. Hartup and his wife Debra of Clifton, Tennessee and James O. Hartup and his wife Deborah of Hixson, Tennessee
Ms. Meter is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Leta Magdalen Hartup.
A Memorial Service will be held in Lenoir City, TN at a later date.
