BETTY GRIMES BLANKENSHIP

was born in Savannah, Tennessee on April 1, 1934 the daughter of Willie Banks Hollins and the late Richard Hollins

On August 7, 2007 she was united in marriage to Wally D. Blankenship, who survives.

Mrs. Blankenship was a homemaker. She loved fishing, cards, bingo and visiting church while she was able. While in the nursing home she visited services at Trinity Full Gospel Church.

She departed this life on November 16, 2013 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 15 days.

In addition to her husband Wally of Savannah, Tennessee, she is survived by her son, Tommy C. Grimes of Savannah, Tennessee

one grandchild, Rhonda M. Collins of Savannah, Tennessee and two great grandchildren, Joshua M. Collins and Brittany N. Collins, both of Savannah, Tennessee

her mother, Willie Hollins of Fayetteville, Tennessee

two sisters, Robbie Beech of Huntsville, Alabama and Dolly Conner of Savannah, Tennessee

one brother, James Hollins of Fayetteville, Tennessee

In addition to her father she was also preceded in death by her first husband, Alfred Jr. Grimes, one daughter, Shelia Grimes Rusk and one sister, Becky Stanfill
