Betty Ruth Eaton

Betty Ruth Crowder Eaton of Lutts, TN was born July 13, 1932 in Florence, AL, the daughter of the late Lavern and Blanchie Lucille Palmer Crowder. She was united in marriage to Loyd Junior Eaton on September 10, 1949 and he preceded her in death on May 15, 2006.

Mrs. Eaton was a retired garment inspector and of the Protestant faith.

Mrs. Eaton departed this life on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Savannah Healthcare in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 9 Months.

She is survived by sisters, Louise Pitts of Horton, AL and Ruby Spears, Alice Horton and Wanda Wilkerson all of Savannah, TN; nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Eaton was preceded in death by a brother, Charles W. Crowder.

Services will be Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Cromwell Crossroads Church, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Brent Horton, Dillon Horton, Stephanie Brewer, Ashley Lemons, Jimmy Wilkerson and David Earl Daniel.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro, TN and Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 11 am to service time at Cromwell Crossroads Church, Collinwood, TN.
