Betty Reeves

Betty Katherine Reeves was born December 11, 1947 in Selmer, TN, the daughter of the late John Alvin and Mildred Irene Moore Elliott. She was united in marriage to Thomas Ray Reeves on January 12, 1967. Mr. Reeves preceded her in death on August 7, 2017. She was a homemaker. Betty enjoyed cooking, coloring, puzzles, listening to gospel music and setting on the back porch talking about the good o'l days. She loved spending time with the grandchildren. Mrs. Reeves departed this life on August 20, 2017 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 69 Years, 8 Months, 9 Days.

She is survived by three daughters: Renee Hembree and companion Darryl Weatherford of Bethel Springs, TN, Lynn Dimmick and companion Ronnie Mathis of Michie, TN, Tammy Kelley and husband Curt of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, Nathan Reeves and wife Shawna of Bethel Springs, TN; a sister, Kathy Ellis and husband Bob of Bethel Springs, TN; brother, Sonny Moore of Selmer, TN; nine grandchildren: Eric Hembree, Colee Hembree Johnston and husband Craig, Zachary Weatherford, Megan Martin Robertson and husband Jimmy, Lane Dimmick, Morgan Reeves, Emma Kelley, Lauren Kelley and Caden Butler; six great grandchildren: Cameron Kennedy, Kyle Hembree, Max Johnston, Westin Johnston, Ashlyn Robertson and Kinsley Matlock; and a host of nephews, nieces and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ray Reeves; and a sister, Barbara Ann Kiser.
