Bill Jr. Stanfield

Mr. Bill Jr. Stanfield, age 77 of Bolivar, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday morning, November 5, 2014 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Mr. Stanfield was born in Haywood County February 26, 1937 to the late Jack and Ruby Floyd Stanfield. He was united in marriage to Joann Stanfield, who preceded him in death in 1982. He was a farmer, and also ran telephone cable for Wallace Construction prior to his retirement. he lived most of his life in Mercer and was a member of the Selmer Church of God. Among his favorite pastimes, he particularly enjoyed fishing.

Survivors include his sons, Michael Stanfield and wife Kim of Mercer, and Terry Stanfield and wife Laura of Mercer; sisters, Brenda Johnson of Jackson, and Frances Dorris of Jackson; grandchildren, Erin Stanfield, Terry Stanfield, Michael Stanfield, Brian Stanfield and Tiffany Stanfield; and great-granchild, Mason Stanfield.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, John Stevie Stanfield and Roger Neil Stanfield; and a brother, Jimmy Joe Stanfield.
