Bobbie Jean Saxton

Bobbie Jean McNorton Saxton was born June 7, 1930 in Sweetwater, AL the daughter of the late Walter (Sam) Lee and Frankie Alley Dunn McNorton.

She was united in marriage to George W. Saxton on April 2, 1966. Mr. Saxton preceded her in death on March 5, 2006.

Mrs. Saxton was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and crocheting. She was a member of the Solitude Free Will Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee and the Eastern Star.

Mrs. Saxton departed this life on October 2, 2015 in Butler, Alabama at the age of 85 Years, 3 Months, 25 Days. She is survived by two sons, Harry L. Parten and wife Sharon of Sweet Water, AL, Phillip A. Parten and wife Laurie of Henderson, TN; a sister, Eleanor G. Hammac of Brewton, AL; 9 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Saxton was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy and W.L. McNorton.
