Mr. Bobby Orman, age 77 of Saulsbury, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at the VA Medical Center in Memphis.
Mr. Orman was born in Fayette County July 4, 1937 to the late Henry Alexander and Juanita Mae Darnell Orman. He lived in Memphis and Fayette County for most of his life before moving to Hardeman County in 2002. He served in the United States Army for 2 years and spent 3 years in the Army Reserves. For 16 years, he worked as a joiner for National Distillery in Memphis and also worked for International Harvester. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #73 in Somerville and a life member of the Paralyzed Veterans of America. He was Baptist and attended West Memorial Baptist Church in Saulsbury.
Survivors include his daughter, Cynthia Young and husband Larry of Saulsbury; sister, Maxine Burton and husband Morris of Rossville; brother, Vern Orman and wife Jo of Germantown; grandchildren, Justin Young and wife Jamie, Bobby Young and wife Olivia, and James Young and wife Jenifer; and great-grandchildren, Blake Young and Tracy Young.
Donations made in memory of Mr. Orman may be sent to the Masonic Lodge or to the MidSouth Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
