Bobby (Daddo) Stanford, Sr. was born November 3, 1952 in Haleyville, Alabama, the son of the late Virgle William Quentin and Mary Jane Woodall Stanford.
On August 20, 1977 he was united in marriage to Teresa Dean Davis, who survives.
Bobby grew up in Haleyville and Phil Campbell, Alabama. He served his country in the Army National Guard. He later moved to Counce, Tennessee and became the Owner and Operator of Stanford Trucking Company. He was very involved with his church, the New Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Counce, Tennessee, and was also involved with the Pickwick Dragstrip where he loved to drag race and work on his race car. Bobby enjoyed driving his log truck and working in his garden. He loved his family and enjoyed his grandchildren and attending all their activities; but most of all, he loved the Lord and was a great man of God.
Bobby (Daddo) Stanford, Sr. departed this life on July 26, 2014, at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 61 years, 8 months and 23 days.
In addition to his wife Teresa Stanford of Counce, Tennessee, he is survived by three children, Bobby Stanford, Jr. and wife, Andria of Savannah, Tennessee, Amanda Mullins and husband, Jason of Counce, Tennessee and Stacy Stanford of Nettleton, Mississippi; five grandchildren. Andrew Stanford, Cheyenne Stanford, Garrett Lindsey, Lillian (Lilli) Mullins and Dalton Penny; two brothers, Leon Stanford of Auburn, Alabama and David Stanford of Haleyville, Alabama.
