Carlene Talley Lake

Carlene Talley Parks Lake was born on February 11, 1947, to the late Carl and Genelle Talley. She was united in marriage to James Parks, who preceded her in death and later was united in marriage to George Lake, who also preceded her in death.

She lived and worked in childcare in Counce, Tennessee, and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Savannah, Tennessee.

Carlene departed this life on September 7, 2013, at the age of 66 years, 6 months and 27 days.

She is survived by her son-in-law, Kerry Tennison and four grandchildren, Katie Beth Tennison, Caroline Tennison, Claire Tennison, And Emma Tennison, all of Counce, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Parks Tennison.

Memorials may be given to Pickwick Southside School, 1970 Hwy 57, Counce, Tenessee 38326 or to Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 3602 Hwy 25, Iuka, Mississippi 38852.
