Carolyn Pipes

Carolyn Pipes was born on December 28, 1943, the daughter of the late James K. and Grace Elizabeth Smith Crotts. She married Arden Sweat, who preceded her in death. Later, on July 14, 2004, Carolyn married John Leamon Pipes, who also preceded her in death on July 10, 2013. She departed this life on September 29, 2017, at the age of 73 years, 9 months, and 1 day.

In her lifetime, Carolyn worked at Garan Manufacturing. She loved to go to church and read her bible.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Calvin Lee Sweat and his wife Andrea Dawn Sweat; brothers, Joe Crotts and Rickey Crotts, both of Savannah, Tennessee; a grandson, Cody Lee Sweat and his wife Whitney; and a great grandchild, Caegan Lee Sweat.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her brothers, Bruce Crotts, Bradley Crotts, and JC Crotts, and a sister, Linda Melson.
