Charles Alton Armour

Charles Alton Armour Jr. was born on January 11, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Charles Alton Leo Armour and the late Ponsella Varee Williams Armour.
After Charles graduated high school, he joined the United States Army. Charles worked for the railroad for a very short time, and also worked at an A & P grocery store where he delievered groceries.
Mr. Armour loved to watch the Lone Ranger, Bonanza, Durango Kid, and Gunsmoke. He also enjoyed watching Army movies. He loved going to church, and Charles' little brother, Phillip, was the greatest influence on his life.
Charles departed this life on April 12, 2015 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 69 years, 3 months, 1 day.
In addition to his father he is survived by 2 sisters, Rachel Leah Nelson of Tulsa, OK and Melita Miriam Freeman of Memphis, TN; 7 brothers, Phillip Armour of Tulsa, OK, Perry Armour of Elgin, IL, Stephen Armour of Red Bird, OK, Micheal Armour of Kissimmee, FL, Peter Armour of Tulsa, OK, Johnathon Armour of Bolivar, TN, and David Armour of Huntingdon, TN; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In additon to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Armour, and a sister, Constance Denise Jamison.
