CHARLES EDWARD CUPPLES
Henderson, TN: Charles Edward Cupples age 71 passed away November 26, 2013 at Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born May 11, 1942 in Chester County the son of the late James Lawson and Myrtle Lucille Easley Cupples. He was married to Wilma Faye Kirby November 4, 1960. He made his home in Chester County where he drove a truck running a mail route for H. B. Phillips and Barclay and retired from H.B. Phillips in 1998. He was an active member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church for many years and for the pasts several years a member of the Victory Baptist Church. Mrs. Cupples passed away April 15, 2013.
He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Edens and husband Allen of Waynesville, MO and a son, Marty Cupples of Henderson; two sisters, Mildred Griswell of Henderson and Vicky Taylor of Sardis and four brothers, Leland Cupples, Howard Cupples, Carlos Cupples and Curtis Cupples all of Henderson.
Funeral services will 11:00 AM Saturday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Johnson Chapel with Jerry McCorkle officiating and burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Henderson, TN.
The family will receive friends at Johnson Chapel 5 PM until 8 PM on Friday.
