Charles McLendon

Mr. Charles McLendon, age 89 of Bolivar, Tennessee, passed from this life Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at his home.
Mr. McLendon was born in Enid, Mississippi to the late Norman Charles and Margaret Estridge McLendon. He graduated from Enid (MS) High School with the class of 1943 and worked for Kimberly-Clark for 40 years. He also worked at Sheraton Casino for ten years. He lived most of his life in Hernando, Mississippi, and he enjoyed gardening in his spare time.
Survivors include his daughter, Georgia Jeter of Bolivar; stepdaughter, Robin Smith of Martin; grandchildren, Cecil Watson of Middleton, Mark Watson (Mikella) of Middleton, and James Watson of Bolton, Mississippi; step-grandchildren, Courtney and Misty; great-grandchildren, Justin Watson, Amanda Watson, Cody Watson, Wyatt Watson, Nobie Watson and Lennon Watson; and step-great-grandchild, J. J.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held in remembrance of Mr. McLendon at a later date.
