Christine Novay was born March 7, 1944 in Bolivar, TN, the daughter of the late Leo and Maggie Harris Dodd. She resided in Ramer with her daughter Jana Hodge and her 2 grandchildren, Olivia and Warren Hodge. Mrs. Novay was a Registered Nurse, working at various nursing facilities, and as a Psychiatric Nurse for over 10 years. Mrs. Novay departed this life on September 26, 2014 in Ramer at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 30 days.
She is survived by her husband Ronald T. Novay, a daughter Jana Hodge of Ramer; 2 sons Chris Hodge and his wife Lee Heather of King George, VA, and Jeremy Novay and his wife Bridgette of Saulsbury; 10 grandchildren; a sister Peggye Jean Lacroix and her husband Joe of Bolivar; a brother Leo A. Dodd, Jr. and his wife Martha of Bolivar and a host of extended family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Novay was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Donald Randolph Dodd and Rodney Wayne Dodd.
She is survived by her husband Ronald T.
