Cletus E. Cooksey

July 3, 1927 — December 21, 2013

Cletus E. Cooksey of Adamsville, TN was born July 3, 1927 the son of the late Samuel Lacy Franklin Cooksey and Jessie Hollingsworth Cooksey. Mr. Cooksey departed this life on December 21, 2013 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 86 Years, 5 Months, 18 Days.

He was united in marriage to Faye M. Smith on November 20, 1948. Mrs. Cooksey preceded him in death on September 26, 2005. He was a Veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by a daughter, Lee Dale Henley of Jackson, TN; four grandchildren, Angela Blankenship, Tommy Henley, Jr., Anthony Cooksey, Jon Jon Cooksey; four great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his wife, parents, and siblings, Mr. Cooksey was preceded in death by two sons, Donnie T. Cooksey and Teddy Wayne Cooksey.
