Collene Banks Hamilton

Collene B. Hamilton, age 85, wife of the late B. H. Hamilton , and a resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 at Mt. Pleasant Healthcare and Rehab.

Mrs. Hamilton was born on December 11, 1929 in Eupora, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Dewey and Mary Wells Banks. She was a secretary for the railroad. In her spare time, she enjoyed : sewing, cross-stitching, and crocheting. Her biggest accomplishment was raising her 6 loving children.

Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her sons, Ron Richardson and his wife Peggy Jean of Louisville, Kentucky and Terry Richardson of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. Daughters: Fran Richardson Wakefield and her husband David of Columbia, Tennessee and Janet Carroll of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Joy Hamilton Carroll and one son, Larry Morgan Richardson.
