Dakota "Bud" Franks departed this life on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at the age of 26 years, 1 month, and 5 days. He was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 6, 1992. He is survived by his mother, Tammy Lynn Franks; father, Andres Gonzalez; step mother, Marltre Gonzalez; brother, Nathan Franks; step brother, Adam Tequida;, step sisters, Nicole Cardoza, Candice Gonzalez and Elizabeth Gonzalez; aunt, Edie Hughes; uncles, Jerry Franks, Troy Franks and Benjamin Fernandez; aunt, Helen Mitchell; special friends, Zachary Scott and Devin Scott, all of Savannah, Tennessee; a host of cousins; and his Marquette Towing Family in Paducah, Kentucky, that he considered his extended family.
Dakota loved cars, riding backroads, and fishing. He was a prankster, always cutting-up and joking with everyone. He was a member of the Savannah Bowling League.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Birdie Franks; aunt, Rachel Stricklin; and uncles, Bob Franks and Cecil Franks.
