DENNISON GILLIAM
Fairview, TN: Willard Dennison Gilliam age 84 passed away March 2, 2014 at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN.
He was born and reared in Columbia, TN the son of the late Carl Eugene and Mary Virginia Derryberry Gilliam. He graduated high school in Columbia and married Margaret Ann White in 1954 and they made their home in Nashville where he worked for Southern Woodware as a truck driver. They retired and moved to Fairview in 2001. He was a member of the New Hope Church of Christ in Fairview.
Mr. Gilliam is survived by his wife, Margaret Ann White Gilliam of Fairview; two brothers, Ralph Gilliam of Murfreesboro and James Carpenter of Springhill and a sister, Janice Fetner of Nashville.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Joe Curry officiating and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Chester County, TN.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel beginning at 9:00 AM on Thursday.
