DEVENA RINKS ALEXANDER
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on June 6, 1965 the daughter of Earline White Rinks and the late Edgar Rinks.
On April 27, 1983 she was united in marriage to Dale Alexander, who survives.
Devena was a secretary for Smith & Smith Attorney at Law for 13 years. . Devena loved her boxer dogs, Drummer, Ringo and Gretch, she also loved fishing and singing, which she would go to the Convalescent Homes and sing to them. Most of all Devena loved being with her family, especially her two grandchildren.
She departed this life on January 1, 2014 at the Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 48 years, 6 months and 26 days.
Devena is survived by her husband of 30 years, Dale Alexander of Adamsville, Tennessee.
one son, Josh Alexander and his wife Kelsey of Chattanooga, Tennessee
one daughter, Magan Alexander of Adamsville, Tennessee
one step daughter, Atoyia Barnes and her husband Bart of Selmer, Tennessee
2 grandchildren, Hayse Barnes and Jack Houston Barnes
her mother, Earline Rinks of Savannah, Tennessee
one sister, Lisa West of Savannah, Tennessee
one brother, Bruce Rinks of Savannah, Tennessee
In addition to her father, Devena was also preceded in death by one brother, Jeff Rinks.
