Earline Cochran departed this life on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at the age of 87 years, 6 months, 30 days.
Earline was born in Waterloo, Alabama on June 3, 1926, the daughter of Olgra Beckham Richardson Hunt and Robert Robertson. On August 27, 1947, she was united in marriage to Marvin Cochran, who preceded her in death on November 17, 2002. She spent most of her life in Hardin County, Tennessee and had worked at Park Rest Nursing Home as a cook; and 11 years in the Dallas, Texas area. Earline loved to travel, was a passionate reader, enjoyed photography, baseball, and fishing. She also enjoyed working with the American Legion Auxiliary and held several offices on local and state levels. Earline was a member of the Church of Christ, American Legion Auxiliary of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and the Hairdressers of America in New Mexico.
Earline is survived by her daughters, Jean Jackman and husband George, Glenda Land and husband Jimmy all of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Joseph Liddell, Christopher Liddell, and Kathy Galt; 9 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; sister, Louella Barrier and husband J.V. of Savannah, Tennessee; a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Andy Hunt and Joe Richardson.
