Eddie Whitaker

Eddie Whitaker was born on January 26, 1945, the son of the late JC and Lois Whitaker. On December 10, 1966, he was united in marriage to Brenda Kay Lewis, who survives. Eddie departed this life on August 15, 2017, at the age of 72 years, 6 months, and 20 days.

Eddie was a member of Love and Truth Church in Savannah, Tennessee. He served his country in the United States Army. Before retiring, Eddie was a self-employed forester. In his lifetime, Eddie lived in Killen, Alabama and Lutts, Tennessee. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in the yard.

In addition to his wife, Eddie is survived by his sons, Wesley Dean Whitaker of Lutts, Tennessee and Eric Bradley Whitaker and wife Britney of Killen, Alabama; brothers, Jerry Whitaker of Athens, Georgia and Michael Whitaker of Dyersburg, Tennessee; a sister, Sue Dills and husband John of Birmingham, Alabama; and grandchildren, Easton Bradley Whitaker and Brody Collier Whitaker.
