Edna Gallaher Staggs

Mrs. Edna Mae Gallaher Staggs departed this life on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee at the age of 71 Years, 8 Months, 24 Days. She was born March 23, 1943 in Waynesboro, TN the daughter of the late Joe and Laura Ann Springer Gallaher. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Staggs was preceded in death by brother, Gilbert Springer Gallaher.

Mrs. Edna was a retired housekeeper from Wayne Care Nursing Home, Waynesboro . She was a member of Zion Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.

She is survived by a son, Rodney Keith Staggs of Hohenwald, TN;
grandchildren; Selena; Jason and Elisa Staggs and 2 great grandchildren; brothers, J.C. Gallaher of Collinwood, TN, James Lester Gallaher of Lawrenceburg, TN, Don Frank Gallaher of Waynesboro, TN; sisters, Anna Lou Clayton of Goodlettsville, TN, Martha Grace Hollis of West Point, TN, Carolyn Ruth Hampton of Gallatin, TN, Eva Helen Gipson of Madison, TN;

Services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Danny Huckaba officiating. Burial will follow in Gallaher Cemetery , Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
