Effie Jean Rainey

Effie Jean Seaton Rainey was born on August 29, 1927 in Hardin County Tennessee, the daughter of the late Johnny and Nancy Seaton.

On April 15, 1947 she was united in marriage to James Robert Rainey, who preceded his wife in death on October 20, 1991.

Mrs. Rainey loved going to church at New Creation Ministries, formerly Savannah Foursquare Church, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She departed this life on July 25, 2013 at the Hardin Medical Health and Rehabilitation center at the age of 85 years, 10 months, and 26 days.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Maples and her husband James of Adamsville, TN, and Wanda Knouse of Savannah, TN;

One son, Bruce Rainey of Sevierville, TN; Eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Rainey, two sisters, Arlene Beardon and Lucille Bratton, and 2 grandchildren.
