Eldon (Tutelum) C. Hill

Eldon C. (Tutelum) Hill was born February 15, 1937 in McNairy Cpunty, TN the son of the late Samuel Clay and Margaret Muzzette Harris Hill.

He was united in marriage to Vanilla Sanders.

Tutelum was retired from McNairy County Highway Department. He was Baptist in belief. He loved fishing, playing with his grandbabies, sitting on the front porch and barbequing.

Mr. Hill departed this life on May 6, 2015 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 2 Months, 21 Days. He is survived by his wife Vanilla Hill of Selmer, TN; daughter, Roxie Holt and husband Darren of Selmer, TN; stepdaughter, Sherra Cagle and husband Keith of Selmer, TN; a stepson, Arlus Burney and wife Shelley of Selmer, TN; three brothers, John Ross Hill of Adamsville, TN, Tom Hill and wife Wilma of Adamsville, TN, Lonnie Hill and wife Ann of Fruitland Park, FL; a sister, Linda Carolyn Kendall of Dyersburg, TN; 2 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, 8 Step Grandchildren, 17 Step Great Grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Hill was preceded in death by a stepson, Tony K. Whitley; a brother, Leonard Hill; 2 infant brothers and an infant sister.
