ELIZABETH DENISON WYLIE
Henderson, TN: Beulah Elizabeth Denison Wylie, age 87 passed away Monday May 5, 2014 at Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born December 19, 1926 in Henderson County the daughter of the late William Patrick and Victoria Gibson Denison. She attended schools in Henderson County and graduated Lexington High School in 1946. She was married to Willard S. Wylie in 1949. She received her LPN License from Jackson Vocational and worked at Jackson General Hospital from 1960 to 1985, after retiring she did some private duty nursing.
She moved to Henderson after the tornado in Jackson in May of 2003 to live with her daughter Janet. Mrs. Wylie was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Jackson.
She is survived by a daughter, Janet ‘Jan’ Burkhead and husband Harry E. Burkhead of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard S. Wylie, May 20, 2007.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, May 8, 2014 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Bro. Harry Burkhead officiating and burial will follow in Sardis Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday.
