Esther Cox Lowery

Mrs. Lowery passed away Saturday morning, May 10, 2014, at Gallaway Healthcare in Gallaway, TN.
The daughter of the late William M. Cox and Birdie Sanderson Cox. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lowery and a brother Edgar M. Cox.
A native of Hardeman County, she spent her early years in the Mercer community before moving to Memphis at the age of 29, where she worked for both Woolworth's and Goldsmith's. She lived her last few years in Somerville.
Survivors include her step-daughter, Doris Harper of Collierville; her step-daughter-in-law, Charlotte Lowery; and her neighbor and close friend, Cathy Franks of Somerville.
