Frankie Mae Twitchell was born in Hardin County, IL. on April 19, 1931 to James and Sarah (Palmer) Allen. She departed this earth on May 13, 2015 at 84 years of age.
Frankie was raised in the Tower Rock Community near Cave-In-Rock, IL. Frankie was the fourth of eight children.
Frankie was of the General Baptist Faith and served the Lord in various communities where she lived.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Sarah Allen; two husbands Loren Matthews and Freeman Twitchell; two sons Dennis Matthews and Nolan Matthews; four sisters Mary Edwards, Thelma Reed; Martha Reed and Velda Boyd; two brothers James Allen and Charles Allen.
She leaves to mourn, three children Brenda Barton (Bruce) of Henderson, TN, Linda Bebout (John) of Lexington, TN, and Larry Matthews (Rita) of Rosiclaire, IL; and a daughter-in-law Mary Matthews; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She leaves one brother Troy Allen of Black Mountain, NC.
