Fred Hardeman Helton

July 24, 1922 — June 9, 2015

Fred Hardeman Helton was born July 24, 1922 in Adamsville, TN, the son of the late Andrew and Roma Clemmons Helton.

Mr. Helton was a retired Machinist from International Harvester, which is now called Navi Star. He was a member of the Maggie Jones United Methodist Church and served on the Maggie Jones cemetery committee for many years. He was a Mason and served our country in the Army during WWII between January of 1943 and December of 1945. Fred loved dove hunting, fishing, camping and had a garden big enough for two counties every year.

Mr. Helton departed this life on June 9, 2015 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 10 Months, 16 Days.

He is survived by his wife Betty Jean Kiestler Helton of Bethel Springs, TN; three children: James Helton of Savannah, TN, Janice Collins and husband Lewis of Savannah, TN, Marilyn Brimhall and husband Paul of Memphis, TN; two step children, Randy Williams and Debbie Williams both of Finger, TN; a half brother, Johnny Helton of Selmer, TN; eleven grandchildren: Michael Brimhall, Amber Pickett, Leslie Busby, Devan Taylor and husband Andy, Dakota Jaggers, Paul Brimhall, Eugene Brimhall, Ginger Hill, Candy Helton, Casey Collins and Patrick Collins; fourteen great grandchildren: Cameron Busby, Madelyn Sewell, Gary Sewell, Emma Bella Pickett, Alexis Brimhall, Chase Bermudez, Layton Berry, Alivia Faith Taylor, Latasha Cox, Michael Williams, Adian Cox, Joseph Williams, Jackson Williams and Emily Williams; also special friends and caregivers: Bro. Tony Moss, Harry Delouch, Mancel Kirk, Tennessee Quality Hospice, Bryan Reed, Jonathan Cooksey and CNA Tina.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Helton was preceded in death by his first wife, Maurine Helton; a son, Gearld Helton; a stepson, Johnny Williams; a grt-granddaughter, Meleah Busby; a sister, Essie Mae Burkeens; three brothers: Everett Helton, Jess Helton and Clarence Helton.
