GENEVA MCDONALD
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 29, 1923 the daughter of the late Tom A. and Lala Pearl Riley Baker.
She was united in marriage to Robert Edward McDonald, who preceded his wife in death.
Mrs. McDonald was a retired school teacher where she taught at Frank Hughes School for 36 years. She also had worked for Oak Ridge Nuclear Plant. Mrs. McDonald was a member of the Retired Teachers Association and she was of Methodist Belief. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. McDonald departed this life on July 25, 2013 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 87 years, 8 months and 26 days.
She is survived by her two sons, John Thomas Baker of Saltillo, Tennessee and Robert Michael McDonald of Savannah, Tennessee
three grandchildren, Holly Baker Melton, Mandy McDonald Russell and her husband Ken and Michael Ryan McDonald and his wife Holly
five great grandchildren, Cain Stricklin, Logan Melton, Blaine Christopher Durham, Emma Grace Hipps and Heidi Jasmine McDonald
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Brownlow and W. J. Baker.
