George Franklin (Buddy) Throgmorton

George Franklin (Buddy) Throgmorton of Waynesboro, TN was born June 8, 1933 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of the late Walter P. and Nola Jane Turnbow Throgmorton. He was retired from Lincoln Brass manufacturing.

Mr. Throgmorton was found dead on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at his home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 4 Months, 17 Days.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Throgmorton was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Earl Brewer and a nephew, Michael Brewer.

He is survived by a daughter, Trudy Blades of Florence, AL and a host of friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with family and friends speaking. Burial will follow with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Dwight Prince, James Frank Bundrant, Jeremy Bundrant, Jerry Ray, Jimmy Hill and Tyler York. Honorary pallbearers will be Vince Harper, Phillip Harris, Bobby Burns, Louis Smith, David Sawner, Douglas Hill, Alton Turnbo, Jr., Kent Dugger, Gene Daniel, Jimmy Byrd, Jackie Gobbell and Ken Brown.

Visitation will be at the gravesite one hour before the service.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be given to the Tennessee Animal Shelter, 2748 Lawrenceburg Highway, Waynesboro, TN 38485.
