Glenda Faye Smith Gately Robison

Glenda Faye Smith Gately Robison age 74, passed away Sunday morning at the McNairy Co. Health Care Center.

She was born and reared in the Friendship Community of Chester County, TN. The daughter of the late Richard David and Annie Rickman Smith. She when to school in Chester County and in 1955 she married Max Ray Gately for thirteen years and in 1968 she married Samuel Edward Robison. They moved to Memphis and in 2010 they moved to Finger, TN. Glenda worked for the State of Tennessee in the Food Stamp Fraud Investigation Department as an investigator. Mr. Robison passed away on June 24, 2013. Mrs. Robison was a Baptist in belief.

She is survived by two daughter; Teresa Russell and Vickie Smith both of Henderson and a step son Don Robison of Henderson, and by three brothers; Max Ray Smith of Oxford, MS and
R.D. Smith and Danny Buril Smith both of Henderson. Six Grandchildren, Twelve Great Grandchildren, and Five Great Grandchildren.

Glenda was preceded in death by her husband Sam Robison and two brothers Otrel Smith and Bill Smith.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at 1:00 pm from the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Casey Chapel with burial in the Mars Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm on Monday at Casey Chapel.
