Graple L. Strawn, age 86, of Collierville, TN, was born August 17, 1928 in Michie, TN to the late Samuel and Edna Sowell Thacker. She departed this life on October 17, 2014 in Collierville.
She was united in marriage to Gilbert Hayse Strawn on August 21, 1948. Mr. Strawn preceded her in death on October 10, 1992.
Mrs. Strawn was a homemaker, a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
She enjoyed all crafts and was exceptional in cross stitching and knitting.
She is survived by a son, Michael Strawn (Deborah) of Memphis, TN; a daughter-in-law, Donna Strawn of Collierville; four grandchildren: Megan, Elizabeth, Mallory and Peyton Strawn; a brother, Eugene Thacker of Shiloh, TN and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Keith Strawn.
