HARRELL D. CONAWAY
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 20, 1945 the son of the late Gilbert Claude and Ethel Laurene Smith Conaway.
On November 14, 1964 he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Rogers, who survives.
Mr. Conaway served his country in the United States Army. He was a teacher for 32 years at Tennessee College of Applied Technology in Crump, Tennessee and was a minister for 32 years at Olivet Pentecostal Church. Mr. Conaway enjoyed classic John Deere tractors, coon hunting in his younger years, raising domestic rabbits and he enjoyed the Crump Flea Market.
He departed this life on December 8, 2013 at the McNairy Regional Hospital in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 68 years, 4 months and 18 days.
In addition to his wife, Elizabeth of Adamsville, Tennessee, he is survived by one daughter, Monica Yvonne Gordon and her husband John of Adamsville, Tennessee
three grandchildren, Ethan (Ted) Gordon, Benjamin ( B. J. ) Gordon and Evan Gordon
one brother, Keith Conaway of Adamsville, Tennessee
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Joey Conaway and one brother, Larry Conaway
