Hattie Ann Towery

Hattie Ann Towery was born in Savannah, Tennessee on September 24, 1932, to the late Daniel Lee and Capitola (McDougal) Powers.
She was united in marriage to Jimmy Irvin Towery, who preceded her in death on October 7, 2001.
In addition to living in Savannah, Tennessee and Atlanta Georgia, she also lived in Knoxville, Tennessee and Livonia, Michigan. Mrs. Towery, an administrative assistant, was employed and retired with Temple Baptist Church.
Mrs. Towery departed this life at Dekalb Medical Center in Decatur, Georgia on October 14, 2013 at the age of 81 years and 20 days.
She is survived by two children, James Martin Towery of Florida and Deborah Ann Fitzpatrick and her husband, Robert of Atlanta, Georgia; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe Powers and his wife, Evelyn of Oak Ridge, Tennessee and Jack Powers and his wife, Barbara of Lexington, Kentucky.
In addition to her husband, Jimmy Irvin Towery and her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings, Daniel Powers, Mary O'Letha Smithson, Brownie Nichol an Bobby Powers.
