HAZEL CHERRY
Henderson, TN: Hazel Lanell Frye Cherry age 87 passed away May 12, 2014 at the Henderson Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born August 29, 1926 at Henderson, the daughter of the late Lloyd A. and Jewel Pearl Parrish Frye. She attended schools in Chester County. She married Ray Cherry, September 14, 1947. They made their home in Austin, TX where Mr. Cherry was in the parts and service business. They moved to Henderson in 1980, where Mr. Cherry owned and operated The Parts House. Mr. Cherry died in 2010.
Mrs. Cherry is survived by two grandchildren, Virginia Cherry Millard of Denver, CO and Daniel Cherry of Deepwater, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ray Cherry, a daughter, Patsy Lanell Cherry and a son, Kenneth Ray Cherry.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday May 15, 2014 at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Casey Chapel with Dr. Roger Penn officiating and burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Casey Chapel 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday.
