Howard Willis

Howard Willis was born March 4, 1922 in McNairy County, TN, the son of the late Albert Warren and Maude Crangle Willis.
Mr. Willis was member of Court Avenue Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Selmer, TN and served our country during WW II. He worked for Brown Shoe Company for 39 years and retired from Martin Land Surveying.
Mr. Willis departed this life on April 2, 2014 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 92 Years, 29 Days.
He is survived by a daughter, Jean Martin and husband James of Selmer; a son, Tommy Jearl Willis and wife Tammy of Selmer; his grandchildren, Mike Martin of Ramer, TN, Jason Martin and wife Jennifer of Tupelo, MS, Tony Willis and wife Nina of Guntown, MS, Shane Willis of Adamsville, TN, and Tabitha Willis of Selmer, TN; his great grandchildren, Hannah Martin, Paige Willis, Claire Willis and Taylor Willis; a brother, A. C. Willis and wife Trudy of Newport News, VA; two sisters, Mary Henson of Whiteville, TN and Jerry Cain of Selmer, TN.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Willis was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Bertha Lee Coleman Willis; his second wife, Josie Barnes Willis; and his siblings, Tommy Willis, Pearl Sweat, Bertha Moore and Charles Glen Willis.
