Mr. Bridges was a leader, if asked, his family will tell you he never said go on, he always said come on, which was demonstrated at a very young age. Due to his father's illnesses, he made a living and cared for all of his siblings. He was always a farmer. In addition, he retired from Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) in 1986 after 27 years as a carpenter. His dedication to family carried on with him throughout his life and never waivered. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.
His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure...
He is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
