I.B. Baldwin

I. B. Baldwin was born October 20, 1932 in the Reed's School House community of McNairy County, TN the son of the late William Roy and Annie Lucille Johnson Baldwin.

He was united in marriage to Shirley Breland on December 12, 1952.

Mr. Baldwin attended Kings Mountain School near Cypress Tank, TN. He retired from Dana Corporation in Corinth, MS, he had also worked at US Steel in Gary, Indiana, US Army Corp of Engineers, Sealtest Dairy in Memphis, TN and Tyrone Hydraulics in Corinth, MS. He was a member of AFLCIO Teamster Union.

He was a simple and kind man who loved his wife and kids. He was a man who never met a stranger, always whistling, and liked animals.

Mr. Baldwin departed this life on August 5, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 80 Years, 9 Months, 16 Days. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Baldwin of Pocahontas, TN; two daughters, Rhonda Lou (Baldwin) Park and husband Tim Park Sr. of Pocahontas, TN, Cindy Marie (Baldwin) Cruse and husband Tim of Eastview, TN; a son, Gary Allen Baldwin and wife Janet of Bartlett, TN; a sister, Treva June "Tooty" (Baldwin) King Heath of Corinth, MS; three grandchildren, Timothy Robert Park Jr. and wife Machelle, Sharon Louise (Park) Koon Lehmann and husband Anthony, Jason Lynn Cruse and wife Amy; six great grandchildren, Kayla Machell Park, Kendall Renee Park, Jade Lehmann, Ethan Wayne Koon, Jaydon Bryan Cruse, Taylor Faye Lehmann; brother-in-law, Ronnie Everett; aunt, Erie Baldwin Hurst of Selmer, TN; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Baldwin was preceded in death by a grandchild, Bryan Woodrow Cruse; three sisters, Erie Genette (Baldwin) Austin Brown, Mildred Marie (Baldwin) Burks Grimes, Clarice Corrine (Baldwin) Turner Mills; a brother, Edison Lee (Jack) Baldwin.
