IMA JO MASSEY KIRBY ENOCH
Henderson, TN: Ima Jo Massey Kirby Enoch age 86 passed away November 27, 2014 at the Haven Our Lady of Peace in Pensacola, FL.
She was born November 26, 1928 in the Masseyville Community of Chester County, the daughter of the late Dewey and Zellie Fortune Massey. She went to school at Masseyville and married Joe Charles Kirby in 1946 and they made their home in Memphis, where she worked as an executive secretary for the Holiday Inn Corporation. Mr. Kirby died in 1974. She later married Earl Enoch and he preceded in death in 2006. She had made her home in Pensacola, FL for the past twenty years.
Mrs. Enoch’s heritage can be traced back to the middle ages in England, circa 1058.
Mrs. Enoch is survived by a son, Michael W. Kirby and wife Laura of Hillsboro, MO; two grandchildren, Dana Barker of Nevada, Iowa and Kelly Johnson of Mountain Home, AR and a great granddaughter, Isabella Barker; a brother, Larry Massey of Jackson and a sister, Bonnie Johnson of Alabama.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Dee Massey and a sister, Marie Massey.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday December 3, 2014 at the Henderson City Cemetery with Mike Demick officiating.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home
