Irene Ard was born on July 14, 1937, the daughter of the late Hermus and Beulah Gertrude Copper Runyon. In June of 1975, she was united in marriage to Delbert Dale Ard, who survives. Irene departed this life on December 11, 2017, at the age of 80 years, 4 months, and 27 days.
Irene lived in Hardin County, Tennessee for 25 years. There, she attended Living Word Fellowship. Irene is remembered as being very good artist who enjoyed all types of needlework.
In addition to her husband, Irene is survived by her son, James Davidson and wife Jean of Eastpoint, Michigan; daughters, Niva Mizzi and husband Larry of Madison Heights, Michigan, Barbara Yoder of St. Claire, Missouri, and Devlin Halversson and husband Johan of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Louise Brady of Heber Springs, Arkansas; 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Lynn Davidson; brother, Charles Edward Runyon; grandchild, Ryan Yoder; and great grandchildren, Tessa Yoder and Devin Yoder.
