Jack Oswalt of Nashville, TN was born July 28, 1924 in Bedford Township, Michigan to the late Butler Jones and Adeline Oswalt. He was united in marriage to Mary Louise Grimes on January 8, 1949.
Mr. Oswalt left this earth to be with his heavenly father January 24, 2014 at the age of 89 years.
He is survived by daughters, Claudia (Tony) Briley, and Renee' Connally. Granddaughters Lauren (Cameron) Robinson, and Kara (Chris) Binkley. Grandson, Cody Connally. Great-Grandchildren Jayda and Jackson Robinson. Preceded in death by his wife, Louise Grimes Oswalt; his son, Bobby Joe Oswalt; his parents, Butler Jones and Adeline Oswalt; and step-mother Nada Oswalt.
Mr. Oswalt's family is following his request of direct cremation without a service. Shackelford Funeral Directors are assisting the family.
The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN.
